Stop New York Agribusiness from Hiding Cruelties

The “Ag-gaggers” are still at it. The New York State Legislature is considering a measure(S. 5172) to curtail free speech by prohibiting whistle-blowing at factory farms. Responding to many undercover investigations at dairy factory that revealed shocking images of animal abuse, New York’s agribusiness industry has been attempting to shield its horrific practices from any further public scrutiny.

The Humane Society has set up a page asking New Yorkers to make a polite phone call to their state senator, (click here to find your senator’s information at the Humane Society’s website), urging opposition to S. 5172.
